Heathrow Hi Fi Show 2/5/2007
The new range of Kudos loudspeakers are certainly making many friends. We used them at the recent Heathrow show and they went down a storm. The show itself was very successful with a constantly busy room and excellent feedback from our visitors. We also featured the Avid Volvere turntable with new Naim Aro tonearm mount which again won may plaudits. This new mount offers Aro owners a real opportunity to upgrade their vinyl front ends. The heart of the system was the new Naim Supernait integrated amplifier which combined with the Kudos C10 loudspekers makes a truly affordable and compact high end system. All these items are on permanent demonstration so please do not hesitate to get in contact to hear them
What are you hearing? 28/2/2007
Are you hearing your Naim Audio system at anywhere near its full potential? The inherent sonic ability of a Naim Audio system has never been in doubt, however with products such as the Fraim support and more recently the Hi Line interconnect and CD555PS CD power supply, Naim Audio themselves have amply demonstrated the ever greater levels of performance that are achievable with your existing components. Tom Tom Audio can optimise your Naim Audio system through thoughtful and creative upgrade routes, and by utilising a number of products and accessories that are both compatible with and sensitive to the Naim Audio ethos. As well as a range of loudspeakers and analogue products that work wonderfully with Naim Audio electronics we also have a range of compatible accessories that will unlock the potential of your system and maximise the investment you have already made. These include the incredible range of products from Vertex AQ, an end to end solution of supports, filters and cabling that will simply stun you. The incredible effect of this system can be demonstrated here or in your own system, but prepare to be shocked.

Interconnect Cables
Hi, I've had a chance recently to compare the new Chord Anthem interconnect with the Naim Hi Line, Vertex AQ Solofon and standard Naim interconnect. Firstly I have to say that the cable Naim give you in the box does a very reasonable job. There are no obvious faults and it's weaknesses are more those of ommission rather than adding any particular character of it's own. Having said that, it is quite amazing what potential sonic performance can be unlocked from any Naim player with a more sophisticated cable. Naim players in any context represent some of the best digital components available at each of their respective price points and there's a real treat waiting for you simply by changing the interconnect. Firstly the Chord Anthem offers a fantastic upgrade for £325 and is really a must for anyone with a Naim player who does not want to stretch to the Hi Line. As good as the Anthem is, I still believe that the Hi Line offers you more and if you're at CDX or CDX 2 level or above then this has to be your next upgrade before anything else. In line with classic Naim system topology, there is simply no point in maximising the quality of your source component only to then hold back it's performance with the standard wire. Trust me from the first bar the musical presentation takes on an unforced, natural and palpable quality that is simply seductive. If you haven't tried one, contact me for a free loan, so confident am I that once you've heard it, it won't be coming back. At £495 the Vertex AQ Solofon offers a fascinating alternative and in the context of a Vertex'd system offers even greater musical insights. Interestingly the Solofon is part of a much wider Vertex concept of controlling RFI and mechanical energy from entering and within a system, and before introducing the Solofon there are passive mains filters and leads, plus resonance control platforms that should be in place first, all of which I can happily demonstrate to you. I will expand on the incredible Vertex AQ concept in a later post, but in the mean time if I've sparked your thirst to really start to hear what your player can do, then contact me to hear any of these leads. Cheers

Hello 18/1/07
Welcome to this new section of the tom tom audio site, where I will be sharing news, thoughts, music and experiences from the world of tom tom audio on a regular basis. Over time my plan is to hopefully create a useful resource of information as well as introduce you to new and exciting products and services from Tom Tom Audio. The 'ask tom tom' facility offers you an interactive opportunity to ask questions and seek advice on any aspect of your system as well as share your own experiences on any of the topics discussed here. Please come back regularly as I hope to post weekly to coincide with the regular used stock website update every Friday. I welcome your thoughts and feedback on any topic, and I will be kicking off here soon with some thoughts on some cable comparisons I have been undertaking recently.
